    Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
This "generic" MBSE course (based on SysML) provides fundamental knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using SysML and covers key concepts and practices applicable to various tools and industries. The main topics include:

    • Introduction to MBSE and SysML:
Overview of MBSE principles and the role of SysML in systems modeling.
    • Core SysML Diagrams:
Learning the essential SysML diagram types (Block Definition, Internal Block, Use Case, Activity, Sequence) for modeling structure, behavior, and requirements.
    • Requirements Modeling in SysML:
Capturing and managing system requirements using SysML requirements diagrams to ensure traceability with system elements.
    • Modeling System Architectures:
Defining system architectures through functional, logical, and physical views, ensuring consistency across the layers.
    • Behavior Modeling:
Using activity, state machine, and sequence diagrams to model system operations and interactions.
    • Traceability and Validation:
Establishing traceability between requirements, architecture, and behavior to ensure the models align with system goals.
    • MBSE Workflows with SysML:
Implementing MBSE workflows for system development and validation.
    • Tool-Agnostic SysML Application:
Hands-on exercises and methods to apply SysML principles across various tools.
    • Case Studies:
Real-world applications of SysML in MBSE to demonstrate managing complex systems.
Method Workshops on Requirements Management & System Architecture
Method workshops on requirements management and system architecture offer hands-on insights into proven approaches. They are aimed at teams and individuals who want to strengthen their competencies in structured systems development.

    • Fundamentals of Requirements Management:
Introduction to the principles of requirements management – from elicitation and documentation to maintenance and traceability of requirements.
    • Structured Requirements Analysis:
Methods for precise formulation, categorization, and evaluation of requirements. Use of established techniques such as use cases, user stories, or requirements following the SMART principle.
    • Tools and Templates:
Presentation and application of proven templates and tools to support a consistent requirements process – practical and tool-independent.
    • Understanding and Designing System Architecture:
Conveying key concepts for the development of system architectures – functional, logical, and physical views, architecture principles, and modularization.
    • Interplay of Requirements and Architecture:
How requirements are translated into architectural decisions. Ensuring consistency, traceability, and change management.
    Catia Magic/Cameo Trainings
Overview of the Role of CATIA MAGIC CYBER SYSTEMS ENGINEER in MBSE, with a focus on its use for system design, analysis, and integration in complex engineering projects.

    • SysML Fundamentals:
Using SysML (Systems Modeling Language) in Cameo Systems Modeler to model system requirements, architecture, behavior, and interactions.
    • Modeling System Architecture:
Creating system architecture models with block definitions, internal blocks, and parametric diagrams.
    • Modeling System Behavior:
Using activity, sequence, and state diagrams to model system behavior.
    • Requirements Management and Traceability:
Managing requirements in Cameo Systems Modeler, linking requirements to system models to ensure traceability throughout the system lifecycle.
    • Simulation and Analysis:
Running simulations to validate system behavior and architecture, detect issues early, and verify the system.
    • Collaboration and Version Control with CATIA MAGIC COLLABORATION STUDIO:
Collaborating within teams and using version control features in Cameo Systems Modeler to manage large projects and ensure model consistency.
The training is scheduled for 3 days but can be split across multiple days (e.g., for remote training sessions).
